Since there's no guides for this party quest at all (not even on Google), I decided to make this guide, fresh in MapleSEA Playpark General Discussion Forums. Tangyoon's Cooking Class is for players from lvl 60-90, and can be done in a party of not more than 3 people, meaning you can go in solo as well.

*NOTE* Remember to exchange your certificates before leaving the PQ area if you reach lvl 91 in the PQ, because there's no way to exchange for the certs after you leave the PQ area.

From MapleSEA General Discussion Forums

Gist of this Party Quest :

You have 5 items to add into a dish which will be shown to you. You have to choose a monster to summon for the dish to kill (lolwhut), which will then cause the monsters to appear on the top of the chopping board for you to kill (another lolwhut).

Posted Image
CHOP SUEY!!

Trololol
The monsters will keep spawning for about 3 minutes, during which you can choose to wait for all of them to spawn then kill them all in 1 shot, or keep killing them until they stop spawning and the next selection begins. You have to kill all the monsters on the chopping board before the next wave can be started.

Choice 5

After the 4th selection, some ember monsters will appear at the bottom, which you have to kill all 5 in addition to the monsters on top. Failing to kill them will result in failing the dish.

Posted Image
Palate-Destroying Flames

After all 5 waves are done, you will then have to add salt to the mixture, which just requires you to press the button according to the numbers required, which will slowly fill up. Clicking it correctly will give you a WA/MA +10 buff for 20 minutes.

If you chose the right monsters for the dish, your dish is a success and you will summon the God of Cookery, a large pig at the end. If not, your dish will get a message saying it smells funny and is deemed a failure and a Trashcan will be summoned. Failure of the dish also occurs if you don't kill the Palate-Destroying Flames in time. The God of Cookery has a buff which only allows critical hits to get through, similar to Ani, while the Trashcan has WA/MA cancel.

Trashcan

If your dish was a success, after killing the God of Cookery, you will get 2 Chef Certificates and some EXP. You only get 1 Chef Certificate if you fail, and the EXP received is approximately halved.

Exchange 3 of these certificates for Tangyoon's Chef Overall, or 5 of them for Tangyoon's Chef Hat. There is a 2-set bonus of +15 to STR/DEX/INT/LUK, +500 HP/MP and +8 WA/MA.

Clearing 3 successful dishes also nets you the medal of A Great Chef.

Recipes and Monsters Required:

Note - If you chose the correct monster, you will get a message saying you should expect great dishes. If not, you will get a message saying the pot smells funny.

Escargot - Chubby Snail, Red Snail, Orange Mushroom, Wine Bottle, Potted Sprout
Chopped Noodles with Mushroom - Blue Mushroom, Chopped Noodles, Mushmom, Bellflower Root, Bubble Fish
Cold Jellyfish - Jellyfish, Cool Jellyfish, Sr. Bellflower Root, Ice Piece, Potted Morning Glory
Fried Pork - Ribbon Pig, Very Fat Pig, Fire Boar, Nependeath, Octopus
Slime Pudding - Slime, Cube Slime, Cherry Bubble Tea, Snowman, Chocolate Syrup

Salt dosage is random everytime.

*NEW* As mentioned by Mangosteen, the importance of the salt is only for the buff now. It does not affect the failing of the dish.

RED patch update: The time limit for 1 round is 20 minutes now. Assuming you clear the monsters for each wave as fast as possible, 1 round will take about 8 to 9 minutes on average. The EXP given upon completion of a well-cooked dish is slightly lower than last time, but it is still a good way to level for new characters.

That's all there is to this Party Quest. :)

Also, just a screenshot of a chopping board full of snowmen.

It's not that difficult. When the window pops up to prompt you to add salt, you'll see how much salt to add in. Simply just wait till the number of bars lighted up is the same as the amount of salt to put in, then click at that instant.

Also, I just tried party mode, it seems that when you have more than 1 person in the party, when it reaches the Palate-Destroying Flame stage, one will be allocated to deal with the flames. The other party member(s) will not be able to kill the flames. Another thing is that all party members must add the correct amount of salt, as this requires all party members to click. For selection of monsters, only 1 person needs to click.

Change the resolution of your Maple window. Some sizes may not cause the number to be visible. I'm playing in 800x600 window and the number that appears is misaligned, i.e. out of the black box in the picture. My friend tried with that window setting and was unable to see it completely, but was able to after changing the window size.

Yes, the number is apparently misaligned. The amount of salt in that screenshot is indeed 1. Some numbers are still clear even if misaligned like 4,5 or 6, but for others like 1 or 7 it may be a bit hard to see.

I've just reported it in the bugs section though.

Well, I left a comment there saying that it's stolen already. Thanks for notifying. /heh

Although from the looks of that blog I think it looks like that person's just ripping every opening from every single thread in the General Discussions page, but for who knows what reason.

Do(es) he/she/they/it update periodically or just leave it like this?

Because the pictures used is using the same permalink. If you can delete, re-up, then trololol. But that's like quite troublesome and who knows he/she/they/it update also <_<

You mean delete the images from Imageshack, then re-upload those pics? That's going to be rather troublesome.

Anyway I went to see the page again. Turns out that person did leave a small indication where the guide was from. At least there's some decency in that person.

Well, it's really annoying for your content to be copied and pasted in someone else's site and claiming it to be their own. But it can be indirectly counted as plagiarism.

Anyway, a bunch of links which you can refer to if you wish to request full removal of the plagiarised content.

How to report content violation: http://www.myblogger...olation-to.html
Report copyright infringement: http://support.googl...ct_type=lr_dmca

Since there are lots of copy-pasta content, it's possible for the whole blog to be taken down. (cool)

Maybe they should include a bonus boss if they can clear it under 20 minutes: Gordon Ramsay. (hoho)

And this text will appear on your screen when he is summoned: This beef is so raw, I can hear it moo! Or this ribbon pig is so raw, I can hear it oink! Throw in related variants. /heh
